Our Story

Abby Senior Care was founded in 2008 to offer families throughout the Denver area a high-quality home care option they can trust – an agency that would provide support, adapting to each person’s unique lifestyle and preserving his or her established routines without ever coming in and “taking over.”

Our goal has always been to honor each client’s individuality, working with our clients to enhance independence, safety, and enjoyment of life while providing their loved ones with a sense of relief and peace of mind. We accomplish this by adhering to core values of:

Ross Guillen has dedicated his career to healthcare, focusing on post-acute services such as home health, hospice, and home care. Since 2006, he has been an integral part of the Denver community, driven by a commitment to providing seniors with the same level of care and compassion he would want for his own loved ones. With over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, Ross is recognized for his thoughtful approach to client care and his ability to mentor and inspire the teams he leads.

A proud graduate of the University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare services, Ross combines his extensive expertise with a personal passion for fostering trust and compassion in every interaction. His leadership is defined by respect, motivation, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of seniors and their families.

When he’s not working, Ross enjoys exploring Colorado’s mountains, fly fishing its rivers, and spending quality time gardening and cooking with family and friends. His dedication to both his community and his craft reflects his unwavering commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

We realize that caring for older adults at home is a complex and ever-changing responsibility. To ensure that each member of our care team is equipped to meet a wide range of in-home care needs, our caregivers receive the necessary training required by the State of Colorado. In addition, all of our caregivers have the opportunity to access additional training to feel confident in their work and provide quality care at all times. We are proud to provide training and certification for our staff through a nationally renowned training and certification agency for caregiving professionals.
