Your Care, Your Way
From the moment you first speak to one of our compassionate care experts, you will begin to experience relief. We know just how stressful it can be to help a loved one continue to live at home while facing the challenges of aging or a chronic health condition. We are here to listen to your story and to offer the support you need – whether through our own home care services or through a collaboration with other local support services. Our goal is to ensure that your care needs are met in the most effective and efficient ways possible.
Beginning with a free in-home care consultation, we listen and gather the details of your needs, concerns, and preferences. Then we use that information to create a personalized care plan. Our client care plans are carefully reviewed every 90 days to make sure that the right level of care is always provided and that a client’s needs and preferences can be updated as appropriate.
Each member of our care team shares our high standards for compassion, patience, honesty, and a strong work ethic, and is extensively trained, background checked, bonded, and insured. We treat those we serve with the dignity, respect, and genuine kindness that each person deserves.
Our senior in home care in Denver and the surrounding area is highly customized to meet each individual’s needs, and can include any or all of the following types of services:

Discreet Technology for Enhanced Safety at Home
Home care services help older adults stay safe, comfortable, and independent in the home. But what happens when a caregiver leaves at the end of their shift? Unless a loved one is receiving around the clock care at their home, there will be times when they are without immediate access to assistance. To provide an additional layer of support between caregiver visits, we partner with StackCare, a provider of in-home safety technology.
What Is SmartCare by StackCare and How Does It Work?
Unlike a wearable pendant or an in-home camera system, SmartCare is unobtrusive and does not interfere with a person’s lifestyle or privacy. SmartCare’s technology works through small, discreetly placed sensors that blend seamlessly into the home environment. These sensors send signals to a computer system that learns a person’s typical behaviors, activities, and routines. If there are alterations in a person’s patterns that may be a cause for concern, a real-time alert is generated that can go to loved ones or our agency.

A Variety of Payment Options to Meet Individual Needs
At Abby Senior Care, a provider of professional senior in home care in Denver and the surrounding area, we are here to help families navigate their options to pay for the personalized, professional in-home care services their loved ones need and deserve. Our care specialists are skilled and experienced in uncovering any reimbursement opportunities to which they are entitled, and to making the payment process as simple and seamless as possible. We accept private pay (credit cards, debit cards, and ACH), and will work with you to determine whether your loved one qualifies for the additional options outlined below.
Long-Term Care Insurance
Long-term care insurance helps pay the cost of home care – a service generally not covered by health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. In order to utilize long-term care insurance benefits, the care recipient must be unable to perform the basic activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, eating, toileting and continence care, transferring from bed to chair, and walking.
Benefits are reimbursed to the policyholder after home care services have been provided, so it is important to work with a home care agency that understands the documentation and processes necessary to receive proper reimbursement.
At Abby Senior Care, we have experience in helping older adults and their families navigate their long-term care insurance policies, ensuring maximum benefit and timely reimbursement. Contact us any time for assistance.
Veterans Aid & Attendance
Veterans and their surviving spouses, 65 years and older, may be entitled to a tax-free benefit called Aid & Attendance. The program is designed to provide monetary assistance to those veterans who served our country during a time of war and are now in need of aid or assistance with activities of daily living, such as eating, bathing, dressing, and others.
This benefit is not dependent on service-related injuries or being in combat. It does require active duty during specific periods of war or conflict. You never have to pay this benefit back, and like Social Security, it is reliable and is paid directly to you by the Department of Treasury.
If you would like assistance with determining your eligibility for Aid & Attendance benefits, let us know.
